Hey Everyone,

Thanks so much for visiting my page! This endeavor has been a long time coming passion project and it is so exciting to see everything come to life with your support. So, why did I start this journey? I will just come out and say it: It is ridiculously hard to find safe and effective skincare. As a licensed esthetician for nearly a decade, I have seen the decline in ingredient quality alongside the increase in price. I have been a representative for multiple companies that I trusted until I started digging or they changed their formulations, or their products are or became less than affordable for my clients. It got to a point where I didn't even know what to put on my own face.

According to the Associated Skincare Professionals website there an estimated 40,000-plus cosmetic and skin care products in the United States competing for your attention and dollars with more popping up every day. The choices can be truly overwhelming to even educated skincare connoisseurs. Over-the-counter products spend vast sums of money on marketing and advertising to distinguish what they offer, but none of that money goes toward the quality of the product. 

This is where professional quality products come in. When you purchase a Professional grade product, you are getting more effective formulations, that means better and faster results. You will likely need less product per application since the active ingredients are more concentrated and designed to penetrate quicker. This is definitely the case with Skin Ambition. What you are able to purchase from us is the same concentration that we use in the office with a few exceptions.

​A proper home care regimen will enhance the results from professional treatments and can help prepare your skin for further care. It can also greatly increase the effectiveness of certain procedures only a professional can provide. Even if you don't choose to receive professional skincare treatments (though I highly recommend it) professional quality products can make significant improvements to your skin's baseline health.

However, just because a product is professional quality, doesn't make it safe.  According to the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics "Most people assume the government regulates cosmetics the same way it does food and drugs to ensure they are safe. In reality, cosmetics are one of the least regulated consumer products on the market today." The last time the US passed a cosmetics safety law was in 1938! This $71 billion dollar industry contains thousands of chemicals of which only 11 have been banned for use in this country. The EU is worlds ahead of us in this aspect with over 13k ingredients banned. These are some really scary statistics and yet another reason I am passionate about this new project.

Skin Ambition is proud of what isn't in our products. Everything in our collection is gluten free, talc and bismuth oxychloride free, vegan and cruelty free, paraben free, sulfate free, with no Synthetic Fragrances,  no Phtalates, no GMO’s and no Triclosan. All of our products are made here in the USA. I hope you will join us in our Ambition for better skincare.
